Public Transport

Waterford is not considered ‘peripheral’ in European terms so has never been eligible for Public Service Obligation grants for an airlink to Dublin. The road network has been scandalously neglected. We look forward to the completion of the motorway to Dublin and to express train links to the capital. Read more

Having first been elected to the Senate in 1987, Brian O'Shea has successfully represented the people of Waterford throughout the 1989, 1992, 1997 and 2002 Dail terms, as a Minister of State as well as a TD.
